Our mission is to generate and transfer knowledge to the community by:

I)                   initial and continuous training at universitary level in study fields of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Technological Physics and Electronics Engineering & Telecommunications, for the purpose of individual personal development and in order to meet the needs of the socio-economical regional and European environment;

II)                 scientific research, innovation and technological transfer in fields of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Technological Physics and Electronics Engineering & Telecommunications.

The values we are counting on and wish to transmit to our students are inspired by the life of the latin poet Ovidiu: the love and understanding for your neighbor, the courage to fight for your ideas and for your creed, receiving the joys and trials with dignity, perseverating in creativity, leaving a personal followup against the passage of time.

Our vision: our graduates will be prepared to deal with a competitive environment where strength means creativity, flexibility, adaptability, interdiciplinarity-as should be in the society of the future, knowledge based; this will be achieved by implementing modern study programmes adapted to the European standards and in accordance with the work market requirements, by recruiting valuable and performing teaching and research staff, by developing the teaching and research infrastructure and by establishing partnerships with companies for quality practical stages.
